To see if the servers are running, go to Activision Online Services and select Warzone.
So, it is best to cross this possibility out first. If the game is trying to fetch your profile from a server that is down, it will not be able to and get stuck in a loop.
The first thing I recommend you do is to check the status of Warzone 2 servers.
